JESS MERCURI BEAUTY

For this project I was asked to create a logo design for a beauty business that specializes in hair styling & coloring. Logo is a culmination of illustrative sketches depicting feminine figures and faces, wavy and curly long hair, and beauty tools. My goal was to create a logo design with enough details to represent a beautician but to not overcomplicate it. For typography I explored various serif styles, serifs are known for being formal and traditional which correlated with the professional and stylistic approach I was going for. A modern serif typeface, Bright Darling, is the chosen type face, favored for its artsy yet modernly proficient look.
